Sunrise! A glorious morning.  I am so glad I was up to see this one.  There weren't any pinks or purples in the sky before the sun rose so I just waited, not necessarily for a photo, but to patiently watch for the dawn of a new day.  It was only when I saw the gold begin that I made the mad dash for the camera.

I am now all caught up.
