Opening Day

What a glorious day! The weather went from cold, dark, and rainy/snowy the day before to bright, warm and sunny with crystal clear skies. It was Orioles' opening day, and it was as if suddenly the world burst out from hibernation and said "let it be spring!"
What a treat to take off early from work to meet Meg, Tom and Tony for lunch outside in the sunshine. Then to go to a game and see the O's beat the Boston Red Sox by 1 run! And we even made it onto the big screen. What a great way to start the week. I came home happy and exhausted. And filled with gratitude for a fun-filled day with my wonderful sister, brother-in-law and especially my #1 son.
