spaghetti monster
Early blip today as we have a busy afternoon packing up the car and then driving down to the central belt.
I made Ivy a sensory spaghetti box to play in. She much preffered the red spaghetti- she's got very attached to a broken piece of red wire from Euan's physics room she found under our bed, i think she thought the red spaghetti was made of the same stuff.
I've been making a list of fun sensory stuff for Ivy to do. If i'm going to stay at home with her I want our time together to be just as stimulating and rewarding as if she was with a trained childminder. Got to say 'lesson planning' for an Ivy is far more fun than for a class of high school children. Ordered her more glow sticks and a blacklight bulb, and she and I will go on an adventure to a pound shop when we're in the central belt to acquire random stuff for sensory play. '
Just found a piece of blue spaghetti inside the leg of Ivy's vest....
Euan seems to have got into holiday mode early. We had this conversation about 11.15+- today.
*coming home and finding euan in the kitchen* 'you're home?' 'yes it's Friday' 'why are you home?' 'it's Friday.' 'yes but...' 'I come home on a Friday don't I?' 'Is the clock wrong?' '.......OH NOOOOOO!' *Euan runs back to school*
