Rescue

The surprise of yesterday turned today to be a rescue of a seal.

The seal returned this morning to our beach. It's not normal that wild animals are so tame. It turned out that he/she is a young seal who perhaps has lost his mother, he suffered of hunger because he was not fat as usually the young ones are at this time of year.

After some calls to the local Rescue Station and the Korkeasaari Zoo the authorities decided to bring this poor animal to the Animal Rescue Station of the Zoo in Helsinki. Three men came and offered a free ride to this brave and suffering seal.
