Ward's Shoe Repairs

Been bringing my shoes here for repairs for years. Came to pick up two pairs today and planned to take a photo of the window display. For as long as I've been coming there has been a mechanical model of a cobbler hitting a shoe with a hammer in the window which I thought would make a nice blip. But today, it had gone, leaving a big empty space! So took this instead.

Now wondering when I last saw the model. Has it been gone for years but I haven't noticed? Perfectly possible. Joining blipfoto has made me notice what's around me a lot more than I used to.
