Hasty Retreat

Visit to the Doctor’s Pond and captured this male mallard in the progress of escaping from another male who was chasing him off. It was the reflection of the colours in the mallard’s wing feathers in the rippling water that caught my eye.

The wall is progressing and is now shoulder height.
