Now, Don't Bee Cross

I know, a Bee Blip! One of hundreds that will be blipped as the northern hemisphere finally begins to move into Spring. I was planning a Friday Squirrel Blip but the squirrels were not cooperating and I didn't have time to be patient with them because I'm packing to fly off to Arkansas tomorrow. My only cousin and her hubby live just outside of Hot Springs. They have a very activity filled week planned for us so...

But I digress...These are the flowers of the Cross Vine, another Florida Native. It is a high climber and it's fiery orange blooms can be seen this time of the year, at the very top of tall pine trees. These are on a trellis in my back yard so they are easier to photograph. Cross vine is a Big Favorite with the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. And apparently with Bumblebees also!

A Very Happy Weekend To You All :)
