Loch Morlich

A beautiful morning and so we alighted from the Sleeper at Aviemore around 6am and walked the off-road path to the Rothiemurchus estate and Loch Morlich. We passed many birds, including crossbills which were making a fair racket in the trees. At Loch Morlich, we met Fred's parents and their two Jack Russells for a walk along the shore and through the woods before having a spot of lunch on the beach and heading to Inverness for the evening. Lovely.
