What does it mean?

I've been meaning to blip this statue for ages. I often look at it and wonder what the meaning of it is.

My guess is the left figure represents knowledge; the centre religion or faith and the right maybe the arts?

Unsure though!

BLIP EXTRA: In memory of Ben, the most wonderful little dog ever put on the planet. He gave so much to us all over the years. Gone today but alive and well somewhere and wagging his tail furiously.
