Holiday Party at the Office

Today was the annual department holiday open house - our tiny department of four invites the rest of the division over to enjoy a spread of goodies. I made Chocolate Chip Pumkin Cookies using this recipe from the Food Network. It's the third time this season I've made them and they are soooo good. Sort of cakey/fluffy pumkin goodness with a kick of ginger, nutmeg and cloves . . . and chocolate!

The armaretto pound cake in the foreground of the photo, made by my co-worker, was absolutely decadent - I think I may baking it for Christmas this year.

Since this spread was right outside my office door, it was hard not to graze throughout the day. Then I went to Panera for dinner. I'm officially carbed and sugared out.
