The Cricket St Thomas Portal

Lovely Spa day today at Cricket St Thomas ( fondly remembered as Audrey Fforbes-Hamiltons house in To the Manor Born -BBC sitcom). Marilyn and I had facials, manicures, lunch and plenty of relaxing lounging around. We walked around the grounds which are beautiful, loads of spring flowers and several lovely sculptures of children at play. Neither of us had been here since it was a Wildlife park (and for a few ghastly years Blobbyland) in the 90's when all our children were very young. Above the lake we came across the portal - a mirrored stainless steel structure that we photographed ourselves reflected in which made us look like we were in the Hall of Mirrors. And made us laugh. A splendid day.
