Closed down fair ground.

There are few things more depressing than a fairground that is shutdown. This is the pleasure beach in Southport. Probably opening again soon as the kids will be on holiday.

Today's walk was a bit of a different one - went with my brother and we walked through southport and down on to the marina and through the town. Was good to get out and get some fresh air.

No change today. Mom continues to amaze us all. I took to my bed for a few hrs. Just felt the need to crash completely and did me the world of good. Pops is so full of the cold it's just rubbish but seemed a bit better.

I have taken over his cooking duties from Pops. Rustled up rib eye steak with roasties and spring cabbage. Not too bad. I also managed to sort out a bowl of soup and a nice piece of fish for Pops.
