Roundwood, County Wicklow.

Mary headed zipped down the M50 this morning to meet up with dear friend and Trinity College colleague, Margaret.
Margaret teaches in St Laurence O'Toole Primary School, in one of the nicest parts of Ireland.
Mary will always be the teacher and nothing excites her more than being in front of a class performing. (I read somewhere recently that good teaching is 75% theatre and I believe it in Mary's case).
The whole school and ALL the teachers packed into the hall to listen attentively and ask a million questions about Malawi. It was exhilarating and she came home so excited by the outing. They were all so supportive.
Every class had got involved in a multitude of fundraising activities and the picture shows Principal, Jane O'Brien and Margaret handing over 820 Euro to Mary.
When ALL this money gets to our projects in Malawi, it will give clean safe drinking water to maybe 1500 of the poorest souls imaginable.
In Wells for Zoe we are all volunteers and the founders pay all expenses, so 100% of public donations get to work in Malawi (Rare these days)
The greatest fact though is that everyone got involved and everyone cared.
Good day for Mary and great day for Malawi.
