Day 7 A Bit Better

This isn't the best kingfisher blip I've ever managed but there's no way I'm not using it for blip. We were so excited as we travelled back along the Staffs & Worcs canal near Tixall to find the male kingfisher again.

I can nearly guarantee it's the same male as I blipped last Friday because they are so territorial, especially at this time of year. We followed it quite a long way along the canal. I hope katkatkat and Jerra got good shots.

I've pushed the ISO up because it's quite hard to get shots of moving birds from the moving boat. The vibration of the engine blurs a shot which would have been sharp taken from the land. And, it's heavily cropped.

Well, this is our holiday coming to an end. we will be mooring in the marina tonight.
