The "was there" bird

As in: "look quick, there's a ....
... well it was there"

There was a pigeon who spend the morning building a nest. Every few minutes he'd arrive on the fence with a beak full of twigs - look around, then hop off. Every few minutes, all morning. Set up the camera on a tripod with a remote shutter release coming in through a window - no more pigeon.

Quite like the natural collage though.
