This is Margate Main Sands at the beginning of the season. The beach has been combed and smoothed and the swingboats look as if they've been newly painted. It's only a matter of weeks before they'll be sticky with candy-floss and beer and you just have to pray that it's not your kid who vomits in the bottom of one of them.
