substitute

Having finally found the mother in the garden I feel rather inadequate as a cat mum. Each time I go and feed the mother cat I get a good look at the other kittens. Despite being outside in cold nights and the occasional shower they are all doing so well and look cosy, all huddled up together.

So today I took this one outside and showed him to his mum. He was crying the whole time but she was not interested. I guess she has three others to feed, they are all getting quite big now.

So I took him back in. I feed him but he is always foraging for his mum. Looking for something. And he is missing out on playtime with the other kittens. So we play with him, give him cuddles and keep him warm.
