Beer goggles

The son-in-law's fortieth birthday today and to mark the occasion parents, in-laws and children all went out for a 'Mexican' meal at 'Chiquito'. Not sure how authentically Mexican the food actually was but it did feature a lot of spicy meat wrapped up in different ways and it tasted just fine.

To round off the evening – and to keep the grandchildren and me amused – a game of crazy golf took place. A game at which Mrs Rex showed amazing luck skill. Our middle grandson Logan declared it "the best night ever".

Oh to be that young, enthusiastic and impressionable once again!
