OSO STRONG!!!

The town of Oso Washington that just suffered one of the worst landslides ever killing at least 30 now with many still missing, adopted the slogan Bostonians used after the Boston marathon killings----OSO STRONG. GREAT NEWS FLASH:

MY MISSING FRIENDS ARE ALIVE ! I felt a huge demon fly out of my chest--or something like that....my friend Barb got the call from our friend up there. Our friend and family are ok...just now totally immersed in the recovery and devastation to their town, loss of friends etc. so haven't communicated well. But what a relief!!

So Cowboy, noticing my complete happiness after the phone call suggested I use him for spreading the joy....since his middle name is JOYBOY.

Now the search for bodies and pets and treasures is going on ....still many missing but the list is way down. Lots of injuries to recovery workers like sprains and twisted ankles and all from the mud and debris as the clean up continues. It will be years....Donations have poured in from all over the state here and all over the country...and the world in fact. Gas cards, food, clothes, cash....all help these folks so devastated by the losses. But tonight I will celebrate this great piece of news....and when our friends up there can have a visit...we will go. Thanks blip friends for caring and being supportive...I've been in such a funk mentally since the slide!
