Mrs. Mallard

She was sunning herself at Lake Padden this evening, along with a few grebes. And yes, Mr. Mallard was there as well, in all his iridescent glory, but I liked her better. I had a pocket full of bread so they were happy.

I was totally uninspired to take a picture today. Nothing really piqued my interest except the sky which was full of the most incredible white clouds that I've ever seen. It was gorgeous but I'm not sure what sort of camera equipment could have done it justice. I think it would have taken some professional stuff, so I just sat at the park and enjoyed the show, along with the ducks.
