Standing on the Corner
Brick buildings are not the norm in Southern California.
The predominant style is Adobe style, they're mostly covered with stucco, and have flat roofs with red tile for any slanted roof sections.
I like this building for many reasons:
it's a corner house, it's brick, has a real sloped roof, the "grand staircase" and the columns in front.
Wish I knew who had originally built it.
