Can they not brew a proper beer inManchester?

After a long and tedious day, made so partly by airlines and car hire personnel - but there's a story for another time - all I wanted was a hot shower, some fresh clothes and a decent meal!

Had the shower - bath actually - decent meal courtesy of The Quays in Salford Quays, but was disappointed to find they had no 'Real' ales on.

Only the fizzy stuff from the electric pump.

The waiter then offered me a decent cider, only to return to the table to say they had run out.

Never mind. Soon be home with the family once again and that will make up for it all.
