Chilling by the pool

Didn't get up for the early morning surf in the end. Chilled by the pool with room 16. We took a old surf board from our room to the pool so there was a lot of mucking about on that! We had burritos for lunch. The two French guys Tommy and Xavier (I call them both 'Frenchy') made the burritos for us all. Then headed down to the beach with Jen, Mike and Tom. Jen and I took our surf boards with us so had a little surf down there. Even did some tandom surfing with Tom! Managed to both stand up. Tom is off to be a tour guide at Alice Springs. Going to miss him a lot. Jen is also pretty down about it and said that this is the first time since she has been travelling that she is sad to leave someone. Saw Lucy at 7 eleven, she came and surprised me. Showed her my new surfboard! Worked from 6-9 tonight which was so good as it was kitchen hand so it was so easy and I got free food! After work played bat gammon with Tom and then just chilled. Moved into another bed in a different room with Jen. We found it far too funny for some reason. It looked weird that we just walked into the room with our pjs on and went straight to sleep. Was so nice knowing there were no bed bugs in there!
