Probably Not Worth It

Another of my fake blood/zombie efforts, but not sure this one was worth the faffing:

- dash to garage in drizzle with assorted props
- balance camera on upturned bucket
- apply makeup and fake blood to t-shirt, arms, axe-head and gun
- take several photos
- acknowledge focus mechanism on camera is on its last legs
- decide "that'll do"
- dash for house carrying camera
- come back out to find lovely next door neighbours are out, talking to another neighbour
- hide in garage until lovely neighbours have gone, hoping they wouldn't pop their heads round the door and find me with blooded axe
- look at photos on the computer and realise that most of the fake blood isn't visible as I'd put it on the front not the back of my arms
- decide the gun looks a bit a) too much and b) too plasticky and crop it out
- feel a bit disappointed that the image hasn't quite come out as good as it was in my head
