Between the showers!

In attempt to blip something other than a flower, I came home from the supermarket past the marine lake and took some shots of children racing in laser picos. There was a lot of capsising and rescues! In the end the shots were all rather chaotic and as I had wanted to try a 'colour pop' for the first time, they weren't suitabloe so that effort will have to wait.
Instead I had a walk round the garden and noticed that the cowslips and bluebells have started flowering, but they will be blips later! Then I tried to photograph a dicentra spectablis but in the end decided on this rhododendron after the rain! We actually have two of these as we liked the first one so much we bought another. I hope the recent proposal to rid our gardens of rhododendrons does not happen as we have several and they are beautiful in the Spring.
We are going out to dinner with friends tonight so I am having a lovely relaxing weekend after the stress of the last 3 weeks!
