Waiting for Breakfast

I went out just after sunrise to put some bird food out and to get an early blip. As soon as I opened the bag of food, this cardinal popped up out of nowhere. He allowed his photo to be taken under the condition that I leave promptly so that he could get his breakfast (which I did of course).
