Tulips - but not from Amsterdam
Another dull, damp day in Dundee but brighter in Naples. Why Naples - because Andy Murray was finishing off his singles match in the Davis Cup with a win and then, just under two hours later was back on Court with Colin Fleming to play the middle 'rubber' against the Italians. A very exciting match, and I watched every point on TV - with Andy and Colin winning by three sets to one!
Just one win from tomorrow's two singles matches will mean Great Britain in the Semi-Finals of the Davis Cup for the first time since 1981 and if they won the Cup it would be the first time since 1936.
All this meant I was quite late in late in getting my Blip - so outside our front door were some red tulips, looking rather damp and showing signs of the gentle rain which has been steadily falling. However, I think it lends them an extra beauty at this time of year.
In other news, my day tomorrow starts early with me preaching to a congregation in Uganda - but no long, expensive flights are involved - I shall be using Skype again - a great experience.
