Naomi's back

Naomi the supermodel sheep-kitten alpaca and her mate Claudia stare sadly after their owner's retreating landrover. Not even the sight of visitors with cameras can tempt them to pose.

These two have been away from their smallholding in The Heavens for a number of years, as the grazing was not good enough. I was delighted to see them back again as I walked the area with my friend Eileen, in the rain. They've obviously been out of the limelight at their temporary home, for they are shy now, but they're going to have to get used to being fussed over again, as their field is next to a popular public footpath.

Other than that, it rained. We did a bit of a jigsaw, and it rained some more. Eileen was able to stay for ages, as she did not have the children this time, and we had some 'healthy' lunch together. Now I am off to see La Boheme as a live streaming (or is it delayed?) the Opera Met version, anyway. So, early blipping and I must leave....
