Ship Shapes

The new Port Appin ferry - based on MV Glenachulish - is taking shape after a couple of weeks of neglect. Here all the parts are laid loose to give an idea of fit. Not too much wrong at this stage.

I've managed to cut out some shapes that resemble lifesavers, not quite good enough but I can't find any in the right scale to buy.

I'm now detailing the hull. A bit tricky as I haven't fathomed out yet how to get all the info from the few pics I have. I'll get there.

Been a calm break for a couple of hours after the manic day job last evening and into the early afternoon.

Such is life.
