Gold and Silver

Sort of an appropriate title for the end of the financial year.

The rape fields are as colourful as I've ever seen them this year. Last year round here many of them were muddy swamps and the farmers just ploughed them back in. They look particularly stunning against today's leaden sky.

This barn has featured in my blip previously but this is from a different angle and under very different conditions. It's one of my favourite barns and I always admire it as I drive past it.
