Pigeon Bath Time!

Considering this was taken through double glazing in my back bedroom with the flash shut off on a grey morning with my little camera, I didn't think it came out too bad! This was the first time Mum and I had noticed Woodpigeons bathing in any of our garden birdbaths! We have at least two pairs of Woodpigeons in the garden on a daily basis. They are a bit of a nuisance as they eat up all the food left for the other birds. However they do hoover up any ground scraps which will hopefully keep rats at bay. We don't overfeed the birds and almost never have anything left on the ground purposefully. The pigeons waddle about the garden looking for food and often court one another on the fence!
