The end of the day.

A busy day. In the afternoon we were in Aberdeen to watch one of the Talpids performing in a production of The Phantom of the Opera. Then the younger Talpids arrived to dine and to spend the night with us. Now that they are safely tucked up in bed we and Thomas the cat have collapsed in front of a roaring fire. Summer might have arrived in the balmy south but up here on the frontier it is still a tad wintry!
