Strathkevin Railway

Managed to dodge the showers today (just) and I cycled down to one of my favourite paths. The Strathkelvin Railway Path runs from Strathblane to Moodiesburn, but is due to be extended by Sustrans.

The blip here is of the new bridge which crosses the new section of the M80 between Stepps and Cumbernauld.

I must admit that I can't help imagining the trains that used to travel along this line, and I cycle along making train sounds: "chuff, chuff, chuff,chuff, woooo woooo"!!!
