On the water.

On 1st April the daily boat trips began from the pier in Kinross to Castle Island in Loch Leven. The boats take visitors to the castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in 1567 and from which she escaped the following year. Nowadays the castle is managed by the National Trust for Scotland and is well worth a visit.
I was trying out the zoom on my new camera and discovering how it would cope with an action shot because the boat was travelling quite fast.
