The Saturday that felt like a holiday

I have been wanting to go spend a day at the Rixos hotel on the Palm for months.....

And I was right.... this place beautiful, relaxing, fun... all at once! :)

We arrived around 11am.... we managed to grab one of those fabulous beds by the pool... the weather was simply perfect.... the music kept us in a fantastic mood all day.... especially when accompanied by their gorgeous Hawaiian dancers.

Lunch was just what you expect from a 5 star beach bar, served by smiley and bubbly waiters.

Right after lunch, we got to enjoy a very entertaining water-polo tournament.

In the afternoon, we rented a kayak for an hour and left the hotel for an adventure around the palm.... was idyllic.... especially when we stopped on a Island for a swim and some rest. :)

We made it back to the Rixos right on time to contemplate the sunset while sipping delicious cocktails ....

We just didn't want the day to end.... ;)
