Coming Home

After a very early morning start the day never really let up...from selling teas and coffees to almost 100 people, we went straight to Hexham for the big girls' ballet lessons; Home for lunch and a visit from Auntie Christine, Uncle Paul, Grandad and Talli the dog; a friend's birthday party for Ophelia in the early afternoon; straight to Hexham (again) after that with Grace for a swimming lesson; home via Haydon Bridge chippy. After the girls went to bed, I settled down to watch the final of The Voice UK. Pleased with the winner! I've enjoyed the show much more than I thought I would, given that I only watched the first one out of curiosity as I'm a Kaiser Chiefs fan and have a soft spot for Ricky Wilson :) Today's photo is from the birthday party. All those things to do at the party, but Ophelia and her friend were most happy playing with an empty cardboard box.
