Big jump!

Tonight we had a big event in town. A "Big jump" competition on skis and snowboards is held in the middle of the town. An enourmously high ski jump ramp is built, near to the towns swimming pool. It's so high that the contestants have to ride a hydrolic lift to reach the top of the platform! It's become a well known event and contestants from many countries take part in it. The event is called AK Extreme. My nephew who now lives in Sweden with his family came to compete and he got the first price! I have to say this big jump makes my heart beat faster and I'm terribly afraid of it, the hight of the jump ramp has never been as high as tonigth!
