Jack Swigert- Apollo XIII Astronaut

This striking statue is in Denver Airport's (DEN) Terminal B between the trains (one going to Terminal C and the other Terminal A and Baggage reclaim) The one in the background is going to Terminal A.

This was probably may last trip to Denver (for a while anyway) so this is a fitting photo as I have enjoyed being greeted by Jack on my arrival to and departure from Terminal B (United Airlines).

This is the definitive documentary about Apollo XIII: Apollo XIII: To the Edge and Back with the real people not the Hollywood version. It is underpinned by the incomparable Jim Lovell. Well worth seeking it out.
