Flying Fortress

Watched city demolish saints even though saints dominated most of the game. A flattering scoreline.

At the local airfield a b-17 Flying Fortress was giving joy rides to people willing to pay a small fortune and buzzed our house on the way to the coast a few times.

After walking the dog several times we left to try and find my groomsman and I suits for the wedding. We knew what we wanted. No jacket, just waistcoat and trousers, me light grey, them dark grey. We started off at men's wear house. They had a poor selection and disinterested staff. Went to the mall across the road and looked at Macy's and nordstroms. But they also had nothing.

So we went to a tux rental shop down in la jolla. They had some options but the only one that worked didn't have well fitted trousers. We found a good option for the groomsmen there but at $150+ each just for rental we didn't go for them. On returning home the wife was searching the web whilst I walked the dog again, and found a good option on the express website for $100! Will see what it is like and just return if no good.

Tonight we went for a meal out for date weekend night 2. A place in Encinitas which had good reviews on yelp. I had biscuits (no not the digestive ones) to start. Followed by pork belly and bread pudding for dessert. All washed down by a nice pilsner. The wife had squash blossoms, chicken and some of my dessert with a champagne flight. Fair decent grub and a nice night out.
