National Portrait Gallery

As part of the John Buchan Society Annual Weekend, a group of us took off to the National Portrait Gallery to see the special exhibition of The Great War in Portraits.

To say it was crowded was an understatement. Indeed the whole of Central London seemed more crowded than usual. Some of the JBS members come from quiet country places and found it quite a culture shock.
