Beach Workout.

Another section of the Saxon Shore Way long distance footpath. This stage was from Rye to Winchelsea Beach and back. A fascinating shingle landscape with landlocked see defences and castles, harbours 2 miles inland and a military canal.

It was my first time back here since , I daren't say. Lets just say I was 3 when I came down to Winchelsea for a holiday and we stayed in a little bungalow. The Sheiling. And my sister and I managed to find it again. Excellent.
