afternoon in the sun. this is a bit of a deceptive photo. it's from namsan park, one of most visited green spaces in seoul. on a typical weekend day here, you'll find the paths crammed with thousands of people. since there is so little grass in seoul (most green spaces are hilly/mountainous and forested), finding a group of people sitting in a green oasis like this is pretty rare. and that's where the deception comes in - if i had taken the same shot with a wide angle lens, you'd see that this group was definitely not all alone. for a few seconds, luck was with me, and the constant stream of sunday walkers chose not to enter the frame.
