Night Walk (in a pea souper)

The day before our 27m (see next entry) we wanted to do some head torch walking. We've never done it before, and we imagined a star lit full moon clear sky walk 6 miles up to Stoodley Pike. What we got was a fog with a six foot visibility. It was hilarious, and at times scary. Paul J fell over, I missed finger posts hidden in the fog, and we walked with no idea of where we were or where we were going. Such fun. A last orders pint on our return with a barman who told us how much he hated the pike. He gave us 17 minutes to drink up in, and moaned to us every second of those 17 minutes.
