Bird's Eye View

This bird was on campus today. At first i thought that it was an owl, then someone said it was an eagle, but it definitely wasn't either. Since you only see the bird's shadow in this picture, i doubt that any of you will be able to tell me what kind of bird it was either. I can tell you however that this bird is not usually found hanging out on campus.
When we saw this bird in the tree, neither me nor my roommate had our cameras, so i ran back inside for mine, but forgot to bring her hers =\. We're going to start bringing our cameras with us everywhere!
