Breakfast.

What a wet day it has been! I am feeling so protective towards "Hoppity", the lame Egyptian Gosling, so, after church, I made a quick dash to the park to see if he was OK and give them all breakfast. Not my best image, trying to use a camera and hold an umbrella at the same time proving to be awkward.When I arrived all the babies were under Mum, but they do ooze out from underneath her now that they are bigger. Hoppity is the little one second from your left of the image - he lies down to eat. Three of these goslings are a lot bigger than the others which is strange. They are not so pretty right now, their down being replaced by the stubble of newly forming feathers. I have discovered that they love sultanas!
