Sunday best

Here's an American Robin putting on his Sunday best.
I love the way the birds are so smartly colored this time of year, and how easy it is to see them before the leaves have come on the trees.
And on top of all that, they give themselves away with their mating calls.
It's a great time to be a bird watcher!
