City Wall

Been to York today for the York Open Studios event. Every year the local artists show off their work to whoever turns up, to just look and/or buy. Some are in their own houses and studios, others grouped in local buildings such as schools, churches and offices.

Each year it seems to get better and seemingly more expensive! We stayed around the city centre where there are plenty of exhibits, perhaps another visit next weekend for the artists on the outskirts of the city.

Neither of us bought anything, apart from cards, but the paintings/ceramics we liked were rather expensive.
