Alfred in Winchester

Packed up our stuff and left the cabin around 10 am and headed off to Winchester for a look round.
The river was still very high and bits of the riverside walk were still underwater. Lovely city but the museum and castle were closed.
Had a potter about, stopped for a scone and coffee and then headed home.

Got back to find that the fridge-freezer had died and the food was defrosting rapidly. Down to earth with a huge bump.
