St Ives Estate (in some of my Blips called The Village), Bingley. West Yorks. UK.


The estate is now owned and maintained by the local authority and extremely popular as a natural recreation area serving the surrounding towns along the Aire valley.

There are quite a few small ruined barns or dwellings in the area - this farmhouse is in a picturesque location overlooking a shallow valley through which runs Harden Beck.

The 'Guests' referred to are mysterious - either long departed or dead and buried?
