The woods are full of skunks!!

Skunk cabbages, that is!
Our first bike ride this spring...11 glorious miles through the woods at one of our favorite parks.

We saw lots more people than wildlife...everyone is feeling a little bit of spring fever after the horrid winter we've been through...but it was great to see these purple plants pushing up, in some cases right through the snow!

They remind me a little of the Travelocity gnome!!
